Strawberry Retreat

That beautiful girl in the striped shirt is Lara's daughter, Dana.

This past weekend about 9 of us from class headed up to Strawberry to cool off and fellowship! We successfully accomplished both! We were able to sleep with the windows open, and a couple people even gained a new Coyote friend outside their window. They awoke to howling!

As you can imagine with that many women together, we spent 90% of our time TALKING and laughing!

I certainly wish all of you could have joined us at Kristin's cabin! It was beautiful, and Kristin was such a great host. We enjoyed cooler temperatures, a hail storm, great fellowship, rest, exercise, time with the Lord, prayer, and Margherite's italian cooking! :-) In our devotion time on Saturday, we were spurred on to endure and run the race that God has set before us! Let's continue to encourage one another to press on!

Hebrews 12:1-2, "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
